The FLD-SMP-MB offers the high-performance control module designed to be DIN rail mounted in your NEMA rated enclosure. FLD-SMP-MB long range control module capable of running up to 25 Monitoring Modules and up to 10,000 ft of sensing cables. Each monitoring module can be connected to up to 4 individual sensors not exceeding 82 ft (25 m) each. Because the ERBUS provides both power and communications you can connect monitoring modules to the proprietary bus eliminating the need of additional infrastructure.
With optional loopback wiring increases the system reliability in case of individual cable breaks and shorts. High-level interfacing to DCS/SCADA is implemented through the RS-485 serial output with Modbus RTU, TCP/IP (with protocol converter), or through two dry contacts - one SPDT relay for leak alarms, and a second SPDT relay for trouble/power failure.
FLD-SMP-MB must use a Zenner Barrier and mounted in an approved enclosure for classified locations. Designed to be used with all Naftosense sensing cables and point sensors. Compatible monitoring modules are FLD-MXM and FLD-FBS.
